Get Certified

Hands-Only CPR is great introduction to becoming a lay responder for a teenager or adult in cardiac arrest, but we recommended getting officially certified by an organization such as the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Red Cross to learn basic first aid, how to treat infants and pediatric patients in cardiac arrest, and relieve foreign-body airway obstructions (choking).

A list of courses offered to expand your skill set and save more lives includes:

  • CPR AED: The skills learned in this course will help you recognize  cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person  until EMS arrives.
  • First Aid: This course covers first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.
  • First Aid CPR AED: This course is designed to prepare you to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
