COVID Testing for Travel

As of 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight. Learn more by visiting this link. Check your destination’s COVID-19 situation and travel requirements before traveling. Countries may have their own entry and exit requirements.

If you tested positive for COVID-19 and have upcoming travel plans:

  • Check with your travel agent, airlines and or your destination for specific requirements
  • The Teton County Health Department will not provide individual letters of release
  • If a specific letter of health is required, please reach out to your personal health care provider

Tips

  • Travel with evidence of your positive result - especially if in the previous 90 days
  • Travel with Wyoming Department of Health Isolation Instructions (for those who have isolated in Teton County, WY). If you did not receive documentation, you may fill it out here
  • If you live in Idaho, please call 208-533-3219 for documentation from the Idaho Department of Health
