Employee Health

A quick reminder to check-in with employees about their health on a daily basis. They should be excluded from work if they have any of the following symptoms: cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or fever. They may return to work after being examined by their health care provider, or if not possible, they should observe the following guidance before returning to work:

  1. At least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since all symptoms have ended; AND
  2. At least 7 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.

Scheduled ServSafe Manager Course and Test Information

  • If staff want to take a proctored exam, these are held on the first Friday of every month. Please call the office at (307) 732-8490 to register or receive information.
  • Food Handler training can still be done online with organizations like the National Restaurant Association (ServSafe) and StateFoodSafety. If staff want to obtain a Food Manager Certification, StateFoodSafety now offers a social-distancing-friendly online course and all-online exam proctoring option  https://www.statefoodsafety.com/
  • ServSafe is offering their Food Handler online course (normally $15) for free until April 30th. It can be done in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese.  This is a great training for employees who do not need to take the more in-depth Food Manager course. Employees just need to create a ServSafe account and follow the link below. 
  • Lastly, they also have two short COVID-19 training’s that cover some common sense precautions that employees can take.
